As I sit here, enjoying my Crazy Hot Chicken Folder from Korean McDonald’s (it’s basically a spicy chicken burger in a soft taco shell, but who’s going to argue with a name like that?) it occurs to me that I have done a lot of things in the past eight days and not blogged about any of them, which. . .likely means they will never get blogged about, because to include them all would be to write a novel-length post, and nobody cares about anybody’s life THAT much.
That said, I will blog about interesting things that have happened to me recently, because that’s how I roll.
Now, my camera battery died and I forgot to recharge it, so I don’t have pictures of my travels this weekend. But I went down to Pyongtaek, which is lovely and sort of reminds me of Canada, in that it’s a vaguely rural town so the buildings are spaced out and there’s trees. (This is, like, a big deal. When I talk about population density here? It is the population of Canada + 5 million, in an area the size of New Brunswick.)
I’ve also been meeting with some fancy new foreigner friends – well, just two, but they’re both from Dal, and it’s kind of nice talking to people that are familiar faces. So that’s neat. Also, I continue to boggle at the sheer number of misspelled and/or grammar-free English phrases on t-shirts. It’s kind of cute. And hey! Speaking of mangled Konglish phrases, take a look at the cell phone charm I just bought. (What, they’re not just for trendy fifteen-year-olds here. Even dudes have them.)
Yeah. I bet you don’t have a sweet private savings cat. Nor do you really know what one is. BUT I DO.
More to come in a separate post, maybe tomorrow. I have a project for you all.

I have no time-management skills at all … I’d love a new project!
