There are a lot of things I really love about Korea. The transit system is unparalleled. People are, by and large, friendly and helpful. Their alphabet is easy and phonetic. But there’s one thing I don’t love, that isn’t likely to go away anytime soon – which is why, last weekend, I went to Costco.
What’s this? 40,000 won ($40, give or take) of cheese, of course. I’m the happiest girl alive.

I get Wednesday to Sunday off because of the lunar (“Chinese”) New Year celebration, and evidently the best thing to do if you do not have family in Korea to visit (as this is what one does to celebrate the new year) is to go on a vacation. WOOOO. I will take a million billion pictures, I promise.
P.P.S.: Speaking of the lunar New Year? Anybody who hasn’t heard about the weather fucktastrophe over in China right now should really start following that story. It could end up being a really big deal for public-government relations.
